Full course description
About the Course
In their careers, most speech and language pathologists (SLPs) can expect to encounter patients living with Parkinson’s disease. Learning more about this complex and variable disease can prepare SLPs on the frontlines to provide the best care for people living with it. Currently, there is a lack of information specifically designed for SLPs in treating Parkinson’s disease.
The Parkinson’s Foundation (PF) has produced an online course to address this unmet need, in collaboration with experts in the fields of Parkinson's disease and speech and language pathology. It will be presented live in collaboration with the American Congress of Rehabilitation (ACRM) in October 2017.
